Relevant Steps CA and OR -LCSW, WA -LICSW

Men's issues are our passion and because every man is different, we ensure that our clients are actively involved in planning their treatment. We're constantly doing the work to stay informed about the issues affecting men in various aspects of their lives. From loneliness to confusion about acceptable expressions of masculinity, we've taken your needs into consideration and look forward to hearing from you about your specific goals.

Depression encompasses a wide range of symptoms and can be debilitating. The ongoing stigma around depression often results in men not seeking treatment. Most people experience depression at some point in their lives but don't talk about it out of fear of being judged or perceived as weak. Depression doesn't have to control your life and many of our clients see significant improvement after 4-6 sessions.

Anger management for men is offered virtually in group format. Our facilitators are certified and accept clients who are either voluntary or court ordered. If anger is causing problems in your romantic relationships or has resulted in legal troubles, Relevant Steps can help.

This is the preferred treatment for men whose anger is beginning to interfere with their daily functioning and relationships. The inability to manage emotions not only negatively impacts your ability to connect with others, but also it can have significant effects of your physical and mental health.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is widely used for clients who are experiencing depression and anxiety. This modality is often used with men whose negative thought patterns are stifling their progress.

We help men recover from traumatic experiences by implementing interventions from various modalities. Our clinicians have received extensive training in providing trauma-informed care and use elements of DBT, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Resilience Model to help clients achieve short and long-term goals.
