About My Clients
I work with couples, families, LGBTQ+ individuals, and young adults facing anxiety, trauma, identity shifts, and relational challenges. Many of my clients seek a space that honors their cultural background, values their lived experience, and helps them process life transitions. Together, we explore patterns, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful change through empowerment and collaboration.
My Background and Approach
As an Asian mental health counselor, I understand how identity and culture shape our experiences. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and client-centered. I integrate Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy to help clients make sense of their stories, develop emotional regulation tools, and strengthen their relationships. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel seen and supported, especially those navigating anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. My goal is to create a safe space where clients feel empowered to express themselves, explore their challenges, and grow toward their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins when we are allowed to show up fully—without apology. I am committed to creating an affirming space for clients from all walks of life, especially those who are LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, or navigating generational trauma. I value curiosity over judgment, connection over perfection, and self-compassion over shame. Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to storytelling, music, and cultural exploration—reminders of how art, identity, and healing intersect. Therapy is not about fixing people; it’s about reconnecting with your own voice. I feel privileged to walk beside clients as they do that work.
