About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples & relationships ready for growth and change. My clients include people exploring recurring patterns, those navigating work pressure or burnout, and therapists seeking support and reflection. Whether you’re facing relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or simply curious about yourself, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to understand your patterns and move toward meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I am an LCSW. I incorporate Compassion focused therapy (CFT), mindful non-violent communication (NVC), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), relational life therapy (RLT), Imago Therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), analytic exploration and humor into my work. Thich Nhat Hanh's concept of "no mud no lotus" is at the core of my work. Working through the difficult is what brings growth, love and possibility. Learning and changing are values I hold dear. Let's be psychologically flexible togther.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is grounded in curiosity about the human experience and the belief that people can grow throughout their lives. I’ve always been drawn to listening deeply and understanding the stories that shape us. Before becoming a therapist in 2011, I spent a decade as a classical bookbinder and creator of artists’ books focused on communication and identity—two themes that continue to inform my therapeutic lens. In 2019, I entered the field of compassion studies. During a time of profound global uncertainty, I dedicated myself to cultivating openness and care. I completed a year of training at Stanford as an Ambassador of Compassion, strengthening my belief that healing emerges when we meet ourselves and others with warmth, curiosity, and kindness. These principles guide my practice every day.
