About My Clients

I work mostly with adult women experiencing burnout, anxiety or depression in multiple roles. I also work with the LGBTQIA+ community on life transitions, identity exploration and self-acceptance. I selectively work with late adolescents (16+) and their families on communication and understanding in the home as well as conflict resolution. Ideally, I work with individuals, couples and families that are willing to understand themselves through change in habits and acceptance.

My Background and Approach

I am a recent graduate of my Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology and I am currently beginning the journey towards licensure for both my APC and LPC license in the future. I have years of experience in the psychology field as I worked as an RBT in ABA therapy for nearly three years before and during my time in my master's program. During my program, my internship opportunities led many different experiences with a wide variety of clients from community mental health to school counseling to university counseling. In my nearly three years of internship experiences, I also was able to learn about assessment administration and the process of completing case conceptualizations and evidence-based diagnoses. However the main focus of my time in my program was to hone my own skills in counseling through psychotherapeutic techniques and thus developing my integrative approach that I have to this day.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I personally believe that anyone can be or do anything they desire if they can accept that change is a part of life and being human. I believe strongly that we make decisions that shape who we are everyday and those choices, no matter how big or small, can lead to desired outcomes or feed into old patterns. I am a practicing pagan, I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and identify as genderfluid with she/they pronouns. I have experience with fundamental Christianity and traditional values through my upbringing, and use my experiences to help others navigate difficult feelings surrounding family, community and faith.
