About My Clients
Many of my clients feel emotions deeply and struggle with overwhelm, relationship patterns, or the lingering impact of trauma. I work with adults seeking to better understand themselves, regulate intense emotions, and build healthier ways of coping and connecting. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and partner with Headway to offer insurance options when available.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth therapy for adults across multiple states. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an approach that helps people build practical skills for managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, and creating more stability in daily life. Many of the clients I work with feel emotions deeply and may struggle with patterns that feel difficult to change, even when they are trying their best. Together we work to understand where those patterns developed and build healthier ways of responding to stress, conflict, and emotional overwhelm. I strive to create a space that is compassionate, collaborative, and affirming. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and welcome clients exploring identity, belonging, and authenticity. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, capable, and connected to yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when people feel safe enough to show up as their full, authentic selves. I value curiosity, compassion, and respect for the complexity of human experiences. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen and supported without needing to filter or explain who they are. I am committed to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care and supporting individuals exploring identity, belonging, and authenticity. I also believe mental health care should be accessible, inclusive, and free from stigma. At the core of my work is the belief that people are not “broken.” Our emotional responses and coping patterns often make sense in the context of our life experiences, and therapy can help us better understand those patterns while building healthier ways of moving forward.
