About My Clients
I have extensive experience working with several demographics, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA, teens and therapists. I hold a passion for anti-racist therapy and provide nonjudgmental and accepting therapy that is a safe space to feel and explore all feelings with the goal of healing. I believe therapy is considered a success when the client feels more autonomy in regulating their mood, emotional intelligence and overall interpersonal functioning and success.
My Background and Approach
My background is in crisis intervention with over ten years’ experience in medical Social Work, Psychiatric treatment, Community advocacy and mental health within the corrections department. I have practiced treatment in Northern and Southern California as well as Tennessee and Georgia. I received my higher education in Memphis Tennessee, earning an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Memphis and a graduate degree in Science and Social Work at the University of Tennessee.
