About My Clients

Hi, I’m a LLMSW with a passion for supporting children, families, and neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and ASD. I specialize in a trauma-informed, harm-reduction approach grounded in IFS and family systems models. I have particular expertise in counseling individuals exploring their relationship with substances, offering compassionate support without judgment. I meet clients where they are, creating a safe, inclusive space for healing, self-discovery, and meaningful growth.

My Background and Approach

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), family systems theory, and trauma-informed care to create a safe, inclusive therapy space. IFS helps clients understand and connect with their internal parts with compassion—especially helpful for neurodivergent individuals and those navigating trauma or substance use. Family systems work explores how relationships and generational patterns shape emotions and behaviors, offering insight without blame. Trauma-informed care centers safety, trust, and collaboration, acknowledging how lived experiences—including neurodivergence, systemic oppression, and substance use—impact healing. These approaches honor each client’s full context and support meaningful growth at their own pace. My goal is to meet people where they are and provide affirming care that fosters resilience and self-understanding.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a neurodivergent therapist, LGBTQIA+ member and ally, and social justice advocate, I bring both lived experience and a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and collective care. I believe healing happens not just individually, but in community—and I’m passionate about creating affirming spaces where all identities are welcomed and valued. With 5 years in recovery, I approach substance use and mental health with compassion, harm reduction, and nonjudgment. I’m actively involved in mutual aid and community-based support, and I strive to empower individuals and families by honoring their strengths, stories, and capacity for growth.
