About My Clients
My ideal client is ready to explore personal growth, heal from past wounds, and create lasting change. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space rooted in empathy, respect, cultural sensitivity, and the healing benefits of nature. Using a client-centered, strength-based, and cognitive-behavioral approach, I help clients work through barriers, build self-acceptance, set healthy boundaries, and develop tools to navigate life’s phases with compassion, positivity, and a sprinkle of laughter.
My Background and Approach
II've spent over 20 years in human services, working with children and families in education, nonprofits, and private sectors. Over time, my focus shifted to mental wellness and recovery. For the past seven years, I’ve worked as a psychotherapist in both outpatient and inpatient drug and alcohol treatment. I’m also a Certified Nature-Informed Therapist. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a champion for visibility and equity, committed to diversity and social justice. I use a trauma-informed lens and stay active in community efforts that support mental wellness and underserved populations.
