About My Clients

My Background and Approach
Reed has extensive experience supporting individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and couples(+) who are struggling with financial conflicts, sexual dissatisfaction, and difficulty navigating boundaries. Reed's background in supporting adults on the Autism/ADHD Spectrum had helped him develop a focus on neurodivergent clients that is non-pathologizing and inclusive. Reed utilizes their undergraduate training in Philosophy & Religious Studies to support clients who identify as religious minorities, deconstructing, or religious trauma survivors, as well as agnostics and atheists. Reed has training in the provision of mindfulness based therapies including Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Reed also has sought additional training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, is involved in several ongoing Psychedelic Research Trials and works with local prescribers to provide Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Reed is an active member of the LGBTQ community and is a sought after speaker at Queer community events. Reed loves supporting activists and those involved in community organizing. Reed is a voice for secular and religious minorities in the mental health professional space, where they additionally advocate for mental health professionals to become more informed around best practices for supporting Gender, Sex, Sexuality, Romantic, and Relationship (GSRM) minorities. Reed is currently in training to become a Sexual Health Alliance Certified Sex Therapist, and organizes trainings and consultation groups for therapists interested in incorporating psychedelic assisted therapy and Psychedelic Harm Reduction into their professional practice.
