About My Clients
Transitions can be scary and unknown. Perhaps it’s being on your own for the first time, being an empty nester who’s struggling to find a purpose again, or being retired and feeling a loss of identity. Often, feeling lost can lead to depression, anxiety, a sense of not belonging and even mal-adaptive behaviors such as substance abuse. Whether you’re 18 or 65, you desire to wake up each day with a purpose.
My Background and Approach
Through a person-centered approach, I am passionate about partnering with you to identify your own inner strength and desires to achieve the goals you are seeking. I incorporate mindfulness and can utilize a Dialectical Behavior Therapy approach when appropriate. We all can feel stuck at times. A gentle nudge is sometimes all we need to continue the direction we desire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone has the capacity for wholeness and peace is always accessible. We can all face barriers at times in our lives. Sometimes these barriers are past experiences that we have struggled to heal from and other times barriers present themselves as deeply rooted beliefs we have about ourselves. Beliefs are not a life sentence and CAN change. Through my years of schooling and work in this field, I have begun to understand my own core beliefs that have kept me stuck or fearful. Awareness is the beginning of change, let’s work together to identify and change your barriers!
