My clinical training is rooted in the treatment of developmental and complex trauma, as well as in the treatment of depression, anxiety, attachment disorders, and relationship issues. I also specialize in supporting those navigating adverse religious experiences, spiritual/religious trauma, religious deconstruction and faith identity.
I received my MSW in 2013 with a focus on interpersonal trauma studies. I am trained in EMDR - the leading, evidence-based approach for treating trauma, PTSD, and phobias, as well as Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) - a leading treatment approach for children, youth and adults navigating attachment disorders, as well as for those who simply want to better understand their attachment style and how it impacts their relationships with self and others.
My professional experience includes work and research in residential treatment programs, in-home therapy, hospital- and emergency-based mental health services, and outpatient settings.
