About My Clients
You’re doing your best, but life keeps demanding more. Maybe you’re navigating a change, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or struggling with anxiety or depression that makes everything harder. You’re tired of overthinking and trying to hold it all together while feeling stuck or uncertain. You want to feel steady again, to trust yourself, find balance, and breathe a little easier. You don’t have to face it alone. Together, we’ll create space for clarity and confidence to grow again.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) in North Carolina with experience supporting adults through stress, change, and emotional overwhelm. My style is compassionate, direct, and conversational. I blend person-centered therapy with practical tools from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help clients build coping skills, manage emotions, and create lasting change. Therapy with me isn’t stiff or clinical, it’s a space to be real, reflect, and learn to respond to life’s challenges with confidence and self-compassion. We will spend the first two sessions sifting through the things that brought you to therapy and identifying your goals to help guide our sessions and start making sustainable changes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel human, supportive, and real. Growth happens when you feel safe enough to be yourself, not when you feel judged or pressured. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. I see therapy as a collaborative process: you bring your story, your strengths, and your insight, and I bring tools, perspective, and compassion to help you make sense of it all. I believe healing is not about “fixing” yourself but about understanding yourself with kindness and curiosity. When we approach your experiences with openness instead of criticism, real change becomes possible. Together, we’ll work toward a deeper sense of balance, peace, and connection both with yourself and with the people who matter most to you.
