About My Clients

Have you faced challenges in finding a safe space to process your emotions? Do you struggle to find a clinical environment where you can openly discuss experiences of trauma, marginalization, and low self-esteem? It can be hard to feel comfortable when starting therapy for the first time, and my goal as a clinician is to create an environment that encourages non-judgment and free expression. If you're interested in exploring your mental health, feel free to reach out to schedule a session

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a dual master’s degree in art therapy and counseling from Albertus Magnus College. I primarily work with older children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working with the LGBTQIA2S+, kink-positive, and polyamorous communities, providing affirming and inclusive care tailored to each individual. I utilize both art therapy and talk therapy, adopting an eclectic, person-centered approach that incorporates various modalities. I also have specialized training in writing letters of clearance for access to HRT, surgical procedures, vocal coaching, and hair removal for gender-diverse individuals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone has the right to equitable mental health care with a competent provider. I also believe that each of us has room for growth and development as we move through different stages of life. While we all find different ways to cope, I believe that finding support through therapy can be a valuable tool. In art therapy, we embrace the concept of "both/and," which suggests that life—and the experiences within it—is not simply black and white. I strongly believe that creative processes are a form of communication that goes beyond the limits of traditional therapy. Art can promote radical self-expression and offer a voice to the voiceless. If you're interested in exploring this approach, I look forward to sharing this experience with you!
