About My Clients

Every day, you wake up hoping things will be different and you wont feel the tightening in your chest. Sitting on the edge of your bed, your heart is pounding and your head spinning, filled with thoughts from your past and fears about what your future holds. The pull to climb back into bed and hide under the covers is so strong, and you feel hopeless. Do you struggle to get your child's behavior under control and are tired of receiving bad news from school? I am here to help you navigate life.

My Background and Approach

I use an individual approach with each and every client. Everyone has their own specific needs and my goal is to use the best approach to benefit each client individually. We will set goals according to individual needs and use our time to work together to reach your goals. Some clients work better with motivational interviewing approach or a client-centered approach, whereas others do best with cognitive behavioral therapy or play therapy for the younger clients. I take pride in create a calming environment that focuses on the specific needs of each individual client. During our free 15-minute consultation, we will discuss what brought you to counseling and spend a little time getting to know each other to ensure that I am the right fit for you. Once you are comfortable, you can schedule yourself for your first full session.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Finding relief from anxiety, stress, burnout, & all the other things life throws at you can feel so overwhelming at times, but there is help. My sessions are held in the comfort of your own home, or rather, your safe space. I believe that everyone at some point has struggled with something and needed someone to talk to, but did not feel safe sharing their struggle. Counseling is created to be a safe and secure space for you to be comfortable being honest and open in order to find relief from your struggle. Having a mental health issue is not something to be ashamed of. In counseling, you do not have to share with anyone outside of sessions and your information during session is protected by HIPPA, a privacy law that prohibits it being shared. I strongly believe that so many individuals want help, but they do not know where to find it or how to ask for it. Simply reach out, I am here to provide you with any support and guidance you may need in your journey.
