About My Clients

I strive to provide a safe space for clients to navigate vulnerable moments and find clarity—and to know that you are not alone in your journey. I am particularly passionate about supporting women in their experiences, neurodivergent people of all ages, addressing relationship challenges, including estrangements, co-parenting decisions, emotional co-regulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, career growth, and life transitions. I work with peer groups and offer bespoke presentations.

My Background and Approach

I bring both life experience and academic training to our work together, with advanced degrees in counseling, psychology, communication, and special education. Having spent decades as an educator, I’ve learned a lot about how people grow, connect, and overcome challenges. My approaches include client-centered therapy, neuroaffirming care, metacognitive theory, solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-informed care. I am also trained in addressing suicidal ideation and am seeking more training in internal family systems (IFS) therapy. Together, we’ll create a process that fits you, instead of a one-size-fits-all formula, so your path forward feels grounded, supported, and sustainable.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Connection starts with communication, and words shape our world—so let’s use them to heal. I believe that difference is a strength, not something to fix. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can better understand how your mind and body work, clarify your values, and make decisions that align with what matters most to you. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, working through emotional distress, exploring identity, or untangling past hurts, our work together will be grounded in curiosity, respect, and growth. Together, we’ll build insight, develop strategies, and create lasting change on your terms Healing starts with honoring how you’re built; we are not broken and not less. Just different—by design.
