Rebecca Walush

I have been working in the mental health field and with co-occurring disorders since 2013. I am also a certified sex therapist and certified couples therapist. In addition to working with people with addictions, I also work with sexual dysfunctions and disorders, trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, stress management and relationship issues. I believe persons I serve are whole individuals and approach counseling with each person as an active and collaborative partnership. I work with each client to find a balance between acceptance, responsibility, and change using evidence-based strategies tailored to meet the needs of the client. My approach to therapy offers a holistic, existential model which incorporates artistic, verbal, and body-centered therapy. I operate from a transpersonal, person-centered standpoint, which considers each person in their mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional entirety.

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to heal from hurts and wounds and experience personal growth in a trusting, safe environment.
