About My Clients
My clients often come to me because they are struggling with managing relationships, determining the next steps in life, or are faced with the challenge of finding time to care for themselves. Some are struggling to forgive themselves, others want to understand themselves. If this is resonating with you, then we could certainly be a good fit. I know from my years of experience that you can make changes in your life.
My Background and Approach
I take an empathic, strengths-based and direct approach to our sessions. I have found this is very effective in helping my clients begin feeling confident and unburdened in their lives. I consider each person as an individual within a greater environment, creating a unique treatment plan that embraces the person.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When I’m not in the office, I am teaching Social Work as an Assistant Professor of Social Work at WCSU, which serves to keep me grounded in the values and ethics of my profession. I also serve on the boards of community-based agencies.
