About My Clients
I have experience with all genders and ages. In the past I have worked with individuals who have experienced depression, anxiety, PTSD, domestic/family/relationship challenges, life transitions, and more.
My Background and Approach
I have been in the social work field for 7 years and have had the opportunity to work with a multitude of individuals. I work with individuals on creating a toolbox of coping skills to utilize in times of need - in everyday life - during times of difficulty and struggle. I utilize CBT and DBT modalities to work through how my clients' thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions affect emotions and behaviors. I am able to educate on coping skills and behavioral changes that can positively impact my clients in time of need. I also feel it is important for my sessions to be person centered, and for my clients to learn how to incorporate positive self-talk.
