I was intensively trained in DBT by Behavioral Tech and was fortunate to receive case consultation and training by Marsha Linehan's collaborators Charles Swenson and Emily Cooney at Yale University and Alan Fruzetti at Harvard's MacLean Hospital. For six years I practiced as part of a comprehensive DBT team before leaving to pursue private practice and DBT-informed work with individuals.
I have led CBT groups and used CBT with individual clients for years, finding it an easy-to-understand and effective framework for addressing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, insomnia, perfectionism, and more.
I was trained by ACT founders Steven Hayes, Kelly Wilson, and Kirk Strosahl. I've led ACT groups and used ACT with individual clients for years, finding it especially useful for addressing anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic pain, and life transitions.
