About My Clients
I work with college and graduate students, young professionals, working professionals, parents, and adults navigating later-life transitions. Clients often come to me with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, identity questions, stress, burnout, or a sense of feeling stuck despite outward success. Together, we look beneath the immediate problem to understand the patterns and emotions shaping your life, relationships, and sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I’m a clinical psychologist with more than 21 years of experience. I earned my PsyD from Rutgers University, completed clinical internship training at Massachusetts Mental Health Center/Harvard Medical School, and completed post-doctoral work at the MIT and Boston College counseling centers. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply relational. I primarily draw from contemporary psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, along with attachment-based, trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all formula. We work together to understand the roots of what is causing distress, notice recurring emotional and relationship patterns, and make room for greater self-awareness, more authentic connection, and lasting psychological change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful therapy is rooted in human connection. Growth is rarely linear, and change often begins by feeling seen, heard, and understood well enough to look honestly at what has been difficult. My role is to meet you with warmth, respect, curiosity, and nonjudgmental acceptance while helping you understand yourself more deeply and move toward a life that feels more whole and free.
