About My Clients

Are you exhausted explaining yourself to others? Do you feel fundamentally misunderstood, alienated, or alone? Perhaps you feel like the losses you're facing are piling up so high, you'll never be able to get out from under them. Maybe you're facing shifting roles in your life, or uncertainty about the future and feeling like it is impossible to look forward to, or plan for just about anything beyond tomorrow. All you're sure of is that you can't keep going this way and something has to change.

My Background and Approach

My background is in mental health research where I was fortunate to gather an array of experiences working with people of all ages, identities, and backgrounds. I also trained with medical, psychological, and academic experts from different fields in evidence-based practices. I am passionate about providing information to empower my clients, and help them determine a balanced perspective so you can feel prepared to handle the inevitable ups and down on your path. Sessions blend CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and strength-based care. Whether you have a specific goal in mind that you've found difficult to change, or you're not sure what you want to change, we will individualize a plan based on your preferences, values, and circumstances. I aim to provide you with the support, and practical skills and tools you need to help you rediscover your middle path, deepen relationships, and sustain you in the future. Therapy can be challenging, but you are not alone.
