About My Clients
I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating the unique challenges associated with developmental differences, such as ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities. I also work with siblings of these individuals. My clients typically range from kindergarten to college age.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from a variety of modalities to best meet the needs of my clients. I largely draw from Play Therapy, which allows a child to express their emotions, work through trauma, and develop social skills in a natural and engaging way. I pull techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help build coping strategies and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance mindfulness and emotion regulation. And, as a former Registered Behavior Technician, I use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach behavior modification strategies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a music lover, avid reader, and proud member of the Atlanta Jewish community. I am a “lifelong” camper, attending overnight summer camp as both a camper and staff member for over ten years. Before pursuing my Masters in Social Work at UGA, I worked as a fourth grade teaching assistant and a behavioral therapist for children with severe autism.
