My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Coming from a difficult background myself, I have been where you are and, with hard work and the right supports, have been able to come out on the other side. Along the way, I have received world-class training in various professional environments, such as group homes for emotionally disturbed youth, juvenile detention centers, high school classrooms, homeless shelters, a domestic violence center, a bipolar treatment program, community mental health agencies, and currently, years in private practice. Here you will not find a therapist who seems removed from your difficulties. I have had several clients comment in the past, "Why is it that I feel like there is a reason you get me?" For me, being a therapist is not just a career; it's a calling. Somewhere along the way, it picked me, and I've never been happier to be able to give back to my clients what I've learned along the way from personal and professional experience.
