About My Clients
Are you a person who feels like you are always waiting for the other shoe to drop or that there is something lurking around the next corner or behind the door? I completely understand and that can be a very frustrating way to live life. But it doesn't have to be that way and we can work together to gain control of those feelings; and a number of others that you may experiencing in order to help you take back control of your life. I would be honored t help you learn those tools.
My Background and Approach
I have spent my career building a toolbox full of tools to share with clients in need; just like you. I believe in using an eclectic person centered approach making sure that my clients are at the front of their treatment. Using this approach makes it so that no matter what your experience your treatment is unique to you and what you are going through both in that moment and in the future. We work closely together to help you develop the tools that will best benefit your life now and to help you have the tools necessary when life happens in the future. We'll focus on what you feel is the most important; and if you can't decide we will work together to figure it out and take things one step at a time. No matter what your situation you will be able to move forward in a positive way and I look forward to working with you along that journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I hold the belief that everyone has the power to be exactly who they want to be. I believe that the only thing holding us back is ourselves due to the unhealthy behaviors that we have been taught by others throughout our lives. I have had my own traumatic experiences and through my own therapy journey I have been able to take back control of my life through the skills that I have been taught. I am a big hockey fan and like to watch football occasionally, I am a Philadelphia fan all the way; even when they aren't doing so great. I believe that discrimination in any form is wrong and that no one has a right to place judgement on another person. I am a huge advocate for equality for all. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
