About My Clients
I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, including women, LGBTQIAA+ individuals, the neuro-divergent population and immigrants. I also love working with artists, small business owners and parents who have perhaps tried traditional therapy in the past and are looking for tangible steps toward their healing.
My Background and Approach
I work with teens and adults facing anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, identity questions, and life transitions. I’m queer, gender non-conforming, and neurodivergent, and I bring that lived experience into my work. After a personal mental health journey and an ADHD diagnosis at 42, I was inspired to become a therapist. I use a mix of DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care to create a collaborative, down-to-earth space where you feel heard and respected. I don’t usually offer initial consultation calls but welcome emails if you want to learn more or see if we’re a good fit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand that wellness is a privilege not accessible to everyone. Because of this, I’m deeply committed to challenging and confronting the impacts of capitalism, racism, ableism, colonialism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and other systems of oppression. I especially recognize how late-stage capitalism affects mental health, and I strive to empower clients as the ultimate experts in their own well-being. I believe real healing happens beyond the therapy room. That’s why I’m passionate about offering alternatives to traditional “talk therapy.” With consent at the core of every session, I work collaboratively with clients to identify personal goals and develop practical, real-world strategies. Together, we focus on skills you can carry into everyday life, making therapy a meaningful and active process of growth.
