Accepting Clients

Hi, my name is Becki and I am an EMDR therapist specializing in young adults experiencing trauma, eating disorders and attachment wounds.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Los Angeles, CA

About My Clients

I provide one-on-one therapy for individuals in the state of California. Some people arrive wanting relief from unsettling memories or distressing symptoms. Others may feel "stuck" in a cycle of thinking or behaviors that have been preventing them from moving forward. Sometimes it's wanting a safe place to be able to reflect and gain a better understanding of oneself during a transitional period of life. Regardless of your reasons, I support my clients in exploring the source of their symptoms.

My Background and Approach

Becki maintains a private practice specializing in Complex Trauma and Eating Disorders as well as working at a Trauma Outpatient Program in Marina Del Rey for those seeking more intensive, daily support. Prior, Becki worked in the field of Community Mental Health for 7 years providing trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness within Department of Mental Health. Becki provides a holistic approach to therapy. There is no "one size fits all" approach. We may use a combination of EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic based Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to guide your treatment and achieve your goals. I practice from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective, meaning that health exists on continuum and I will always respect and celebrate the inherent diversity of every body, shape and size.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’ve always been drawn to the complexity of people—their inner worlds, their contradictions, the ways we carry both pain and possibility. Being a therapist allows me to sit with others in an honest, human way, and to support the kind of growth that unfolds through deep, consistent relationship. I work relationally and collaboratively with my clients. I draw from somatic, trauma-informed and IFS (parts work) perspectives to help you understand yourself more deeply—not just in your thoughts, but in your body and nervous system. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about real, lasting change rooted in self-awareness and connection.
