My Background and Approach
I believe therapy is a collaborative process in which you can safely explore and make sense of your inner most world. It is through the understanding of our inner most world that we begin to recognize and understand patterns that no longer serve us and make small shifts towards rewriting our own stories. I offer a direct and relational strengths-based approach while working to empower all my clients to be kind to themselves throughout the healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I utilize a blend of psychodynamic, trauma informed care, mindfulness, dbt, cbt, art therapy, and play therapy. Through my diverse work experience I have worked with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced complex traumas, life transitions, grief and loss, parenting issues, relationship issues, identity questions, anxiety, and depression. Let’s work together to begin rewriting your story! I offer sliding scale fee as I truly believe everybody should have access to good quality therapy!
