Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in Tustin, CA

My graduate education was focused in person-centered therapy. I believe the client is the expert on their life story. I collaborate with my clients to guide them on their healing jouney.
Managing anxiety, panic attacks, anger or depression is challenging but together we create a plan that works for the client. I have additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which I utilized to help you challenge negative intrusive thoughts that create anxiety, depression or anger issues. Utilizing coping strategies along with processing past experiences to create new images for the mind to focus on helps my clients to reduce or eliminate symptoms of anxiety, depression and anger.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, my graduate education was focused on creating healthy relationships with self, intimate partners, family, and work. All relationships require communication and empathy. I teach my clients skills they need to communicate effectively, listen actively and empathize while taking some responsibility. Even if only one partner makes healthy changes the relationship has to change in some way. We work towards creating the relationships you desire.
Many issues can go hand in hand with ADHD, such as, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, extreme empathy or sensitivity and low self worth. Having personal experience and having overcome challenges has helped me to develop a great deal of empathy and the ability to relate professionally to the challenges individuals face who have traits of ADHD. Together we discover your needs and create coping strategies for success.
