About My Clients

Have you had experiences that taught you to quiet your voice? Do you find yourself putting other people first and then feeling lonely or burnt out? Do you find yourself wanting to speak out about something that is important to you but fears of upsetting others get in the way? As someone who has struggled with people-pleasing & trauma fawning, I can relate. I will support you in finding and using your voice to advocate for yourself and others so you can move in greater alignment.

My Background and Approach

I am PsyPact Authorized to provide virtual therapy to folks living in 40 states. Reach out, even if your state is not listed below to see if we can work together. I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology and social justice principals are at the heart of my work. Understanding how our experiences with race, class, gender, ability, and sexual orientation impact our lives is central to my practice. This may be the focus of treatment, or it may simply help me understand your worldview and ways that you may be made to feel more connected or disconnected from others. The goal is always to create a safe environment in which all topics can be explored through a trauma-informed, identity-affirming lens. Sessions may focus on allowing you to process and gain insight regarding your feelings. They also may involve concrete skill-building to support changes in your life. We will work together to create a plan that centers your values.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I want to speak to the current context in which we are living. As a queer, white-bodied, Ashkenazi Jewish person, I have spent a number of years grappling with zionism and its impact on my identity and relationships. I am present to the current devastation occurring in Palestine, Sudan, and Congo (to name a few) and am making myself available to support people as they navigate a myriad of reactions to the current events. Here in the US, many people are confronting these realities head on and are in need of support as relationships shift and change. I am here to support you as you think through complexity, consider communication strategies, and try to remember the importance of rest, nourishment, and connection-- because your wellbeing matters too.
