About My Clients
Everyone has a story, and most everyone has pain in their story. I work with you to name and process the places where you have been hurt, where you have hurt others, and sometimes where you have hurt yourself. We work together to help you find freedom and rest from your story-wounds.
My Background and Approach
I have been working with adolescents, college students, and adults for decades. Each person is unique, and I match my therapeutic approach to your needs and stated goals. I specialize in connecting with you so that you feel I am both with you, and I got you, as you move toward health and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person is deserving of dignity and is to be treated with respect and kindness. I am passionate about providing a safe space for you to bring your true self without fear of judgement. I also love my dog. He was supposed to be a Lab, but he looks more like a Great Dane. Beware of craigslist postings of puppies without papers. And coffee. I'll drop most things to share a French press with a friend. Lastly, I believe I would love reading more if it were a group experience, but I am known to disappear for hours if I'm in the middle of a good book.
