About My Clients
I like helping people who are striving for more balance in their lives. I am particularly passionate about working with young adults as they face life transitions, navigate relationships, and seek their purpose. I also work with individuals and groups with challenges of anxiety, depression, and emotion regulation.
My Background and Approach
I support those facing difficult times in learning how to care for themselves so that they can reach their goals. My clients appreciate my calm demeanor even while discussing stressful topics. I help my clients lean on their strengths. I will be very interested in getting to know you, what you are good at, and what you enjoy. I use evidenced based methods to match your treatment goals. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist in identifying patterns of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and body sensations. I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills training to explore mindfulness, emotion regulation, crisis survival, acceptance, self-respect and healthy boundaries.
