My Background and Approach
Rebecca Addai is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience providing therapy in both medical and community-based settings. She holds advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and anger management. Her professional background includes working with adults, adolescents, couples, and Veterans, helping them navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, and relational challenges. Rebecca’s diverse clinical experience allows her to offer clients tailored, culturally responsive interventions that respect their lived experiences and individual needs. Her integrative approach empowers clients to build emotional resilience, set healthy boundaries, and make meaningful life changes. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in dignity, justice, and the healing power of human connection. I am passionate about advocating for marginalized communities and proudly support movements like initiatives promoting mental health equity. As a woman of faith, I value compassion, humility, and service, and I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space for clients of all identities and backgrounds. I am especially committed to reducing the stigma around mental health in Christian, immigrant, and minority communities. Outside of therapy, I volunteer in programs focused on youth empowerment and suicide prevention.
