About My Clients
I find my skills are well suited for helping people overcome trauma both in their past and present, as well as navigating life transitions, which includes making the jump to adulthood. I have worked extensively with people struggling with mystery illnesses, autoimmune disease, and chronic pain. Additionally I have spent my entire career serving the first responder community, and am culturally competent in providing care to our firefighters and their families.
My Background and Approach
I have been practicing EMDR since 2014, and have been providing services via telehealth since then. I am an EMDR International Association Approved Consultant and Certified Therapist, have received advanced training in CBT, am a Certified Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Provider, and am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I specialize in helping people move forward in their lives from places of trauma, stress, and illness, and leave behind feelings of being stuck, anxious, or depressed. Together, we will find what resources and skills you already have and capitalize on them while learning new skills and developing a better understanding of what is happening for you in the here and now. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am and always have been a strong advocate for social justice, racial equity, and the LGBTQ+ community. I offer reduced hourly fee to individuals who have been traumatized or injured protesting for equal rights.
