About My Clients

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and unresolved childhood experiences. I especially enjoy working with women and young adults who may feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure of how to move forward. Many of my clients are deeply feeling people who struggle with overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and carrying too much on their own.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, authentic, collaborative, and relationship-centered. I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is creating a space where clients feel emotionally safe enough to be honest and vulnerable. A space to be fully themselves without fear of judgment or like you have to “perform." I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Adlerian Therapy, and relational-cultural principles, to help clients build emotional flexibility, self-understanding, healthier coping patterns, and stronger relationships with themselves and others. While I value therapeutic tools, I also believe meaningful change comes from deeper self-understanding, emotional insight, and feeling genuinely supported in the therapeutic relationship. I am finishing my counseling internship while finishing my M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston, and will be LPC-Associate eligible in Texas in August 2026.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel emotionally safe, genuinely understood, and accepted without judgment. Many people spend their lives feeling like they have to suppress emotions, stay strong for everyone else, minimize their pain, or hide parts of themselves to feel accepted. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe enough to be fully honest, vulnerable, imperfect, and human. I deeply value authenticity, both within myself and within the therapeutic relationship. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel emotionally supported while also developing greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and understanding of their patterns. To me, healing is not linear, and growth can still happen even during seasons of pain, uncertainty, or feeling disconnected from yourself. Outside of counseling, I’m a mom, dog owner to my Rottweiler Draco, an avid reader, and someone who deeply appreciates music, dance, creativity, and the arts.
