My Background and Approach
My work focuses on liberating you from the limiting and rigid beliefs of your own self-talk. I help you identify the origins of these limiting beliefs while disconnecting these beliefs from your identity. Since these beliefs are more often falsehoods, we work to capture the true nature of your power and develop strategies to harness and maintain a genuine sense of self that I like to call your foundation. Once your foundation is in place your ability to stand and bear life’s daily challenges in strengthened. The skills I provide are introduced to help you maintain your sense of self, cope with anxiety, and reach your wildest dreams.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in black women. Period. The "Strong Black Woman" is faced with stereotypes and half-truths. Consider those times you "put on your Sunday's best" just to appease the expectations of others. What about all the topics you dare not speak for fear of being seen as weak, ungrateful, or incompetent. My passion is empowering women to remove the mask of other people’s expectations and have the AUDACITY to be themselves. My current focus on the interests of the façade of the Strong Black Woman and Superwoman Syndrome have culminated in the founding of Taboo Truths Women’s group.
