My ideal client would have struggles with anxiety, depression, or significant life transitions. My ultimate goal would be to meet you where you are and identify what progress looks like for you. I approach therapy from a collaborative perspective and want to work with you to make changes happen.
My Background and Approach
I have been a social worker for the past 25 years and have enjoyed helping so many people along the way. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and Motivation Interviewing as my top four approaches to therapy. I want to get to know you and the way your brain works for optimum results. I use both a direct and indirect methods of communication depending on what is needed at the time. I am friendly, approachable, and professional at all times. I even try to squeeze in a little laughter if at all possible.

I believe in mutual respect and integrity. I believe in utilizing people's strengths as a tool for change. I believe in people's ability to do hard things and find success. I believe in the power of community.
