About My Clients
Are you having a difficult time in adjusting to changes as you transition through the next chapter in your life? Do you have trouble communicating your wants and needs to your family and friends. Many times you may just need a little help to take that next step in your journey to overcome roadblocks that you may have created for yourself. I am here to listen to you as we take a therapeutic journey to discover a new meaning of life.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am also a Qualified Supervisor for social work interns in the State of Florida and act as a mentor as they work on obtaining their clinical license. I enjoy working with adolescents, college students, couples and families. I specialize in couples counseling and I am level one trained in Gottman Method. I love the power of group therapy and enjoy facilitating anger management and parenting classes. I have experience working in child welfare with domestic violence and child abuse cases. I am adoption competent, cultural competent and an ally to the LGBTQ community. I encourage every individual to create their own personal narrative while learning coping tools to grow their toolbox as they face the world. I am here to process through concerns, fears, and worries as I use a person centered approach.
