About My Clients

I work best with adults who are self-aware enough to know something needs to change but haven't been able to make it stick yet. People who are tired of surviving on autopilot and ready for something deeper. If you've ever felt like you don't fully belong in the spaces you're in or like you're carrying more than your share, this space was built with you in mind.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background rooted in trauma informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). But credentials aside , what that means for you is a therapist who knows how to hold complexity without rushing you toward a fix. My experience spans anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and relationship patterns. I work with people who've often spent years being the strong one, the capable one, the one who figures it out, and who are quietly exhausted by it. In our work together, we slow down and get underneath the surface, not just manage what's on top. I'm also deeply committed to showing up for BIPOC, queer, and neurodivergent clients in a way that doesn't require you to educate me first. Cultural context isn't an afterthought here, it's built into how I practice. If you're looking for a space that's equal parts honest and compassionate, grounded and expansive, I'd love to connect.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside of the therapy space, I'm someone who moves through the world with a lot of intention. I'm deeply committed to the liberation and wellness of Black and brown communities , not just as a professional value but as a personal one. I believe healing is political, and that access to quality, culturally grounded mental health care is something everyone deserves. I'm passionate about the intersection of spirituality and psychology, the idea that healing isn't just clinical, it's also deeply personal, embodied, and sometimes unexplainable. I incorporate that belief into how I practice and how I live. I'm also an advocate for psychedelic-assisted therapy and expanding access to alternative healing modalities, particularly for communities that have historically been excluded from those conversations. When I'm not in session, I'm usually deep in a book, refining my craft, or finding new ways to understand myself and the world around me.
