About My Clients
I can support you if you are struggling with grief and loss, depression or anxiety. I also can help you if you are struggling with the impact of trauma in your life. I have experience working with people whom might be struggling with life transitions or changes. I can also help you if you find yourself having problems in your relationships. Sometimes, the need for therapy can appear as having a sense that something is missing or gets in the way of living a more fulfilling live.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with adolescents and adults in different settings. I gather tools from different therapeutic approaches to meet my clients' needs and help them in accomplishing their goals. However, I always guide my work by psychodynamic psychotherapy, depth psychotherapy, attachment theory, person centered approaches, family systems and trauma informed practices. I strive to provide a safe place in the therapy where the person can explore what lies underneath the problems that bring them to therapy, at the time that I support my clients in learning skills and new ways of relating and reconnecting with themselves in the here and now, so they have more fulfilling lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the emotional wounds that have not been dealt with in life continue emerging one way or another until we take the time to attend to them. I also believe that people have the inner strengths to heal and change their lives in the direction they need to. I help my clients to reconnect with their inner wisdom and strengths in their path of personal growth. I value and embrace the role of spirituality in mental health when relevant to my clients.
