About My Clients
My clients range from those struggling with an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, family/relationship issues, or first-generation problems and/or cultural trauma. I serve clients in ages ranging from 13+, mostly adolescents and adults. My clients are often looking for a better understanding of themselves and tools to navigate their lives. They end up leaving with more self-awareness and coping skills to not only manage but improve their lives and relationships as well.
My Background and Approach
I offer a safe & supportive environment where healing happens. I believe in the power of creativity, collaboration, & authenticity as transformative tools. I treat the individual rather than the "illness." I am a person-centered therapist with training in EFT, CBT, & UP modalities. I've been practicing since 2017 and feel that the most powerful tool in therapy is having and safe relationship with your therapist. I rely heavily on the client's own experiences and wisdom to guide their decisions. I recognize the impact my own experiences, culture, and upbringing have had on the development of my worldview and take into account my client's respective background to inform our work together. I encourage the exploration of all emotions, especially the uncomfortable ones. While I can't promise it will always be easy, I can guarantee some good laughs to make things feel a bit lighter.

You're the expert on your life; I'm here to remind you of your power or maybe introduce you to your power. I encourage you to lean into your discomfort to discover that through courage comes choice and through choice comes change. We can get you from a place of self-doubt, self-criticism, & self-sabotage to self-awareness, self-compassion, & self-acceptance.
