About My Clients
My ideal clients are adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse or trauma who feel disconnected, burdened by shame, or stuck in repeating patterns. I specialize in helping individuals who are ready to heal, rebuild trust in themselves, and break free from the impact of past wounds. Whether you're dealing with trauma, attachment issues, or emotional overwhelm, I offer a compassionate space where you can feel understood and supported on your journey toward wholeness and empowerment.
My Background and Approach
As an EMDR-trained therapist, I integrate parts work, somatic interventions, attachment theory, and mindfulness to help clients heal from trauma at a deeper level. My approach addresses the core of painful memories, aiming to restore balance in your nervous system and reconnect with parts of yourself that have been fragmented by trauma. With a focus on healing from childhood sexual abuse and complex trauma, I work with clients to process their experiences and create a path toward empowerment. I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can safely explore the impact of your past, helping you feel more grounded and connected to yourself. I am supervised by Jessica Callahan, LPC-S, and my training allows me to offer specialized support to those struggling with trauma, attachment wounds, and feelings of disconnection. Together, we will work toward healing and lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a therapeutic space rooted in empathy, compassion, and inclusivity. I am committed to supporting survivors of trauma, advocating for their healing, and empowering individuals to reclaim their voices. I believe in social justice and stand with movements like Black Lives Matter and support LGBTQ+ individuals in their journey toward self-acceptance. I value equity, and my practice is a safe space for all clients, regardless of race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. I’m passionate about helping clients break free from societal and personal barriers that prevent them from thriving. I also support mental health awareness initiatives and advocate for accessible care for trauma survivors. It’s important to me that every client feels heard, seen, and valued. Together, we can create a more just and compassionate world, beginning with your healing journey.
