- Medication Management
About My Clients
I work with individuals who are looking for a more personalized and balanced approach to their mental well-being. In my practice, I combine traditional psychiatric care—such as thoughtful medication management when needed—with a broader, whole-person perspective. This means we also look at factors like sleep, stress, nutrition, lifestyle, and life experiences that can impact your mental health. I commonly work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, and life transition
My Background and Approach
Dr. Rani George is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and completed her post-master’s certification as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, along with her Doctorate, from the University of South Alabama. Dr. George works with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She takes an integrative approach to mental health care, combining thoughtful medication management with supportive, evidence-based techniques such as motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. She works collaboratively with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan that promotes emotional well-being, resilience, and overall quality of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I believe that mental health care should be compassionate, personalized, and centered around the whole person—not just symptoms. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, helping them better understand themselves and develop practical tools to feel more in control of their daily lives. I also have a strong focus on prenatal and perinatal mental health. I understand that pregnancy and the postpartum period can bring emotional challenges that are often overlooked or misunderstood. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space where individuals can openly talk about their experiences without fear of judgment, while receiving thoughtful, evidence-based care. My approach is collaborative and respectful. I value listening deeply to each person’s story and working together to create a treatment plan that aligns with their goals, lifestyle, and values.
