For children, adolescents and young adults, the center of growth and change is being able to feel comfortable with your therapist. My goal is to get to know you, find the best way to work with you and help you become the best version of yourself! For children, play is the way they are able to communicate and a way to understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. While for adolescents and young adults it is to be able to relate to them, show empathy and support them while they navigate new experiences, challenges, and intense emotions.
I utilize Mindfulness, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma focused Therapy, as well as other techniques that I have learned along the way through my work with children and adolescents over the years. I make sure to tailor to each individual's goals and preferences.
