I am providing a confidential space where you can feel safe to self-reflect on the things that you love and dislike about yourself, and we can heal and grow from your experiences.
My Background and Approach
As a graduate school student I began my career helping survivors of domestic violence, college students, and high school students for 3 years. After graduating I became a crisis counselor serving foster youth and former foster youth providing support over the phone and as a first-responder in person to emergency situations and to do outreach at group homes. Now I am focusing on remote individual therapy and couples counseling to anyone residing in California. During sessions, we'll work at a pace that you feel comfortable, though it may be difficult when reflecting on painful memories. We may examine and reframe negative patterns of thoughts emotions and behaviors, open wounds from past traumas, be present in the mind-body-spirit, role-play social skills, and other interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Confronting difficult situations are never easy and you don't have to do this alone. Sometimes we need an empathetic caring person who can provide a judgment free space to listen and keep things confidential. You are so strong for being tough, but you're even stronger for seeking help! You deserve to be that person you're meant to be!
