About My Clients
You’ve spent years pushing through—masking, overthinking, holding it all together. Maybe you’re newly diagnosed with ADHD or wondering if that’s what’s going on. Maybe you’ve always felt “too much” or “not enough.” You’ve tried to make it work, but something still feels off. You’re tired of second-guessing yourself and ready to understand your brain, your patterns, and what it might feel like to finally be seen for who you are.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and built around what actually works for your brain. We’ll explore the patterns shaping your emotions, relationships, and self-perception—especially if you’ve spent years masking or feeling misunderstood. Some days we’ll dig deep into old wounds or beliefs; other days we’ll focus on practical strategies for managing executive function, emotional spirals, or boundary-setting. I bring warmth, structure, and a deep belief that you don’t need to be “fixed”—you need support that makes sense for you. My work is grounded in psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and parts work, with tools from CBT, DBT, and IFS depending on your needs. We’ll build something real, together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to explain your neurodivergence, identity, or lived experience before we can get to the real work. I’m affirming of queer, trans, and nonbinary clients, and actively work to unlearn systems that pathologize difference. I believe ADHD is not a character flaw, that rest is not something you earn, and that healing happens when we’re allowed to bring our full messy selves into the room. I’m a lifelong learner committed to anti-oppression work and neurodivergent-affirming practice. I support Black Lives Matter, reproductive justice, disability rights, and mental health access for all. I’m also a big fan of sensory-friendly offices, fidget toys, and celebrating the tiny wins—because they’re not actually tiny at all.
