About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults of all ages, with a focus on the older teen and young adult/young professional population. I have worked with issues of relationships, mental health illnesses, trauma, life transition challenges, LGBTQ issues, and self exploration.
My Background and Approach
I have over 15 years of experience in the field. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults looking for help with for help with relationships, depression, anxiety, self esteem, grief, money, and career problems. I help people in emotional pain, difficult or confusing situations, those seeking a place to really talk, be heard and understood. I utilize a multi-technique, interactive approach that is always based on finding a style that will best fit your unique needs. Therapy is a personal journey where the therapist-client relationship is most important, therefore I strive to establish an honest and warm working relationship with each client. In creating a trusting and therapeutic relationship, together we can then explore your relationships and other patterns in your life, geared toward discovering new ideas and finding solutions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
There is often a stigma associated with seeking help in the mental health field, and I understand these first steps that may have led you here were not necessarily easy. Know that taking this step is not a sign of weakness, but actually a sign of significant courage. I believe that the basis for change always stems from your own personal strengths and greatness. Sometimes we need someone else to see the greatness in us, but my goal is always to help my clients find their ability to once again stand on their own two feet. I am here and look forward to taking the next step together with you.
