About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, or simply feeling overwhelmed. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. As a bilingual English and Arabic therapist with a bicultural perspective, I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
My Background and Approach
My path to becoming a therapist began in education, where I worked as a teacher and later as a school guidance counselor. Those experiences taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and recognizing that every person brings a unique story and set of experiences into the room. I later transitioned into clinical mental health counseling, first as an intern and now as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I was born in Egypt and am bilingual in English and Arabic. My bicultural background has given me a personal appreciation for the ways culture, family, identity, and life experiences can shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I work to create a comfortable space where clients can explore challenges, better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.
