My practice philosophy focuses on providing trauma-competent care to every client, whether they have experienced significant, life-altering trauma or the trauma that results from chronic daily stress and difficult life transitions. I attempt to build genuine caring relationships with my clients. I use an integrative approach in which clients are empowered to heal their pasts so they can move forward with their lives.
I encourage my clients to build their own tool sets of self-care and mindfulness practices to help them better cope with life’s challenges. Using gentle but powerful therapies such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and expressive arts therapy, I work with my clients to heal past trauma and craft the lives they envision.
