My Background and Approach
As a clinician, my patience, understanding, and ability to simplify complex human experiences into easily understandable terms are my clinical strengths. My training backgrounds include motivational interviewing, DBT, CBT, addiction counseling, and crisis management. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that there must be balance between the mind, body and spirit in order for each human being to reach their full potential and accomplish their goals. Therapy and medication management are excellent evidence based tools for mental health recovery although my approach integrates positive social experiences, physical exercise and mindfulness meditation as a part of treatment to assist clients with maintaining their recovery and coping with external stressors.
