About My Clients
My ideal clients are people who know something needs to change but aren't sure where to start. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflict. I'm particularly drawn to clients who carry a lot — for their families, their relationships, their communities — and are ready to start making space for themselves. I also work with children and teens. If you've been on the fence about therapy, you're exactly who I had in mind.
My Background and Approach
I'm a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience in behavioral health administration and regulation, alongside clinical training in individual, couples, child, and family therapy. That background gives me a practical, grounded understanding of what actually helps people move forward. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, couples counseling, and family conflict, using CBT, DBT, Gottman Method, play therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques — tailored to what each client actually needs. I'm based in Rancho Cordova and offer in-person and telehealth sessions throughout California. I work with individuals, couples, families, and children across the lifespan, and provide services under the supervision of a licensed clinician as required for registered associates in California. If you're looking for a therapist who will take your concerns seriously and work with you toward something that actually feels different — I'd love to connect.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe most people aren't struggling because something is wrong with them — they were just never given the tools. No one hands us a manual for managing anxiety, navigating conflict, or understanding why we react the way we do in relationships. A lot of what brings people to therapy isn't weakness — it's a gap in what they were never shown or taught. Outside of my clinical practice, I work in behavioral health regulation focused on improving access to substance use treatment across California — and I see firsthand how many people fall through the cracks. It reinforces why accessible, culturally responsive therapy matters to me. I'm committed to reducing stigma, serving diverse communities, and advocating for women's mental health and recovery support. I'm also a proud dog mom to Oliver, a Yorkie who takes his role as emotional support supervisor very seriously. I'm here for the people who were never sure they deserved this kind of support. You do.
